Default Headsup Shitty Seller Alert www.hybridautomotive.com

I hope this is the correct forum to get this messsage out in. About 3 months ago I purchased a 4 wheel disc swap off an integra for my 94 cx from http://www.hybridautomotive.com. Jeff I believe his name was, was very cool and promised me that I would get the best stuff he could find in the yard. Well, everything arrived and appeared in ok condition (it did need rotors and pads all the way around but this is understandable). So finally about 2 months ago I get the time to install this stuff, In my parking lot of my apartment in June in Phoenix, AZ. So understandably I dont ever want to do that again, hehe. Anyways everything looked awsome, so I went to get an alignment. This is were it gets shitty, my pass. rear had possitive camber, I have camber kits and whatnot and it was still possitive on that one corner. So I find out I have a bent spindle on that wheel which has also caused the wheel bearing to start howling. As far as I know the only way to fix this is to get a whole new trailing arm and hub assembly from acura which is gonna run me about $430. So I call hybridautomotive.com, no awnser so I leave a nice message that says I will personaly drive to california to pick up a unbent unit. I then email them the same message. 1 week later I do the same again, a nice phone message, and a nice email, I can understand that people are busy you know. Well here we are about 1 month after I started trying to contact hybridautomotive.com to help me make this right. My last email and phone messages stated that I just want them to tell me either way, to **** off and go buy new parts or that they will help me out and give me the parts they should have in the first place. They will not call me back, or email me. So http://www.hybridautomotive.com you have lost a customer that spends alot of money on his hondas. I will also now make sure everyone I know that spends their money in a similar way will NOT patriate your business. If anyone is still reading this, thank you for your time, and avoid hybridautomotive.com. Their garantees of good parts are worth as much as my ****. Thanks guys

Interesting. I haven't seen this thread until now . . .

First off, I apologize on behalf of the company that we missed your calls. We had been experiencing telephone issues in the past which were affecing our communications with many of our customers, including yourself. We took steps to correct this problem, such as getting new and improved telephone service which has allowed us better, more reliable communications with our customers. As a result of this, we are no longer experiencing these issues.

Secondly, It does state clearly in our 'Order terms and conditions' that returns are only accepted within 30 days of original purchase. We try hard to take care of our customers, even going beyond the defined 'terms and conditions' when appropriate. But several months after the product has been purchased and delivered is too much time. It is impossible for us to verify the parts sent to you were or were not defective two or three months after they have been shipped. You will find this true for any business, not just Hybrid Automotive. Please see here for more info:

I am sorry you are not happy with your purchase. For the record, I did contact you personally and offer to replace the defective parts even now several months after the fact, but you chose not to. That's fine and again, we are sorry we coundn't meet your needs.

Thanks

I'm sorry that u may have had a bad experience, but please don't go around making accusations that this is a bad company when you didn't abide by the policy yourself, and 7 months is a long time to wait, i dont think anyone would do this any different. I and many others have done allot of business with hybrid automotive and will vouch %110 that they are a very honest and reliable company with allot of professional and technical experience! I recommend this company to anyone who is interested and encourage others that know what I'm talking about to post a positive response!

Ok thats fine and great, in my post I stated that I asked you on email and vmail if you cant help me, to tell me to go get the parts elsewear. I would have had no problem with that, I run a business myself and you need policys like you just stated. The fact that I was treated with complete scilence was what pissed me off.

Yeah well the situation was rectified over a month ago by me purchasing new parts at acura. I dont believe I'm being unfair at all towards your company, I have stated exactly what happened to me, and this post was the result of that.
I'm sorry we didnt have very good luck with each other.
