Installing JDM front end on 95 teg
ok here is what you do .. i have the same.. you have to unbolt the abs unit and slide it back towards the car. then you will have to cut the bracket a little so it will fit then you have one of your friends put the screws in while you are pushing on the headlight...............

Can you extend the leash on the ballast by splicing some wires together to make the leash longer then relocate it somewhere else?</TD></TR></TABLE>
you can, but i dont know what kind of rating you will need on soder and the AWG on the wiring...only because im not sure of the amount of amps that would flow thru the wiring after the ballast.... either way, wouldnt suggest it, as water leaking onto those wires would be devastating.

The 98+ ABS unit is smaller because of the HID's that were offered in Japan. So yes, it will fit fine.
As for relocating the ballast, you can if the bulb ignitor is separate (box on the back of the bulb itself). If it has an integrated ignitor, do not extend the wires as it has to be within about 10" or so of the bulb.
