We are racing a civic with a d16y8 and keep throwing syncros in 3rd gear. Are there race trannys for sohc's or do I just keep buying stock tranny's?

mabe they make racing syncros im not sure if they do or not

 

They make gear sets and such but they are very very expensive

 

Try contact http://www.speedmachineracing.com they can build you your race tranny, are you guys familiar with cryo treatment? It suppose to make all internal parts a lot stronger if treated. I"m waiting for my tranny to come back to me. I'll let you guys know how it hold up to abuse.
