Normally? The JDM one will be beat up, it will look like a old
dirty scratched up USDM bumper. But, there are a few with
the funny black bumper lines around it. Much like the CTR.

Some have the side moldings wrapped around the sides of the front bumpers.

wow that is one sweet bumper for the eg...i also never knew that it came with the black rubber spacer things, i thought that it was only for the ek....looks very nice!!! i would get it if i had a hatch..
They work by wiring them to your fuse box and getting a switch to the dash. When parking flip the switch and it props up the parking stick with the motor unit in it. Also if you want to get fancy send a wire to the headlights cut a wire from the headlights then wire it to the parking stick wire (light switch) then at night when you flip the headlights on it'll light up

ding king must make a killing out there, from all the types of ways of squeezing into spaces, they must have a million door dings.

Yeah, same, never seen the bumper lines on the EGs. Didnt see any while I was in Japan either (with the mouldings on them).
And just FYI, if you put the parking antenna on, its supposed to be OPPOSITE of the driver. Just about every taxi cab has that crap, and people get neon glowing ones and its just really pointless.

Not really. There are so many brand new cars, and most of the cars are either mint, or crappy. And most are mint. They've been in a recession for a long time and I went out there and was like "hahaha! yeah right!"

Actually it points out where the bumper is. Parralell parking is small in japan hint* hiace van, previa* where they have no or little hood and bumper so it's easy to get close to the car in front when parking. Also reson Japan has newer cars is that most older cars are auctioned off for other countries such as austrialia, sri lanka and the rest.

actually in japan, everything is so condensed over there that in most places they need that, the parking is ridiculous over there...i have pics of some mercedes limo with it and some other cars...but yes i do agree it is quite stupid to have over here...function over form..and we got big *** parking spaces..and if that isn't enough..its a damn hatch! i mean really..who freaking does that..lol
