VTEC wiring HELP!
ok heres my scenario- i had a d15b7, swapping it out for a d16z6 i bought a p28 ecu (manual) I DID NOT BUY THE D16Z6 wiring harness. I have the motor in everything went back in like a charm. heres my prob- The old wiring harness was not set up for vtec- or so i thought- the wires coming from the solenoid and pressure switch run up to the d15 wiring harness and there is a wire there (oragne and white0 (orange and blue) these wires go exactly onto the exu like the pinouts that people helped me with state- i have heard that some 92 sedans were pre-wired for vtec but didnt have the d16z6 anyone have some info? PLEASE thanks
get a plug for the vtec oil pressure and a wire for the vtec solenoid...and connect the wires to the plugs in the back of the ecu
(all you'll need is a4 and d6 to wire up)
I have a black wire screwd to the solenold??? I didnt do the swap just trying to figure out why it dosent work. Is there a ground for the solenold? If there is a ground shouldnt it be screwed somewhere else? Where is the
speed sensor at??? Sorry still kinda new. Trying to learn how to read the schematics.
