Does anyone have a picture of Insight antenna on an ITR? I know Toda Party used to have that on his but that picutres is no longer available on archived posts.

I have a 03 si antenna on my GSR. what does the insight look like? same as s2000?

 

I have the s2k antenna on my teg. Bad reception but clean looks!

 

IMO the S2K antenna looks better, Insight is to tall.

Did you try adding the radio antenna to it? It supposes to help reception...

 

its no itr but will do

Great... is that bottom black plastic piece (on the body of the car) comes with the kit or is that comes with the Teg? (btw, did you get the kit from RstoR?)

P.S. "zoom-zoom" on the side skirt?

That piece comes with Integras, not to sure about ITR's though .

 

Black plastic comes with all Tegs and can be rotated to assist in the angle of the antenna. The rubber grommet on the bottom of it forms the seal with the chassis.

 

yea the black thing came with the car. i got the s2k antenna kit then one day i got lazy and went to a car wash and the spinnign thingys whacked the s2k antenna off and broke it so i got the insight one cuz its FLEXIBLE....

Someone said the S2k Antenna getbad reception? WHy is that? Is the S2k radio different from FM? How about the Insight's antenna? How's the reception.

That's one on me as well, but I guess people like the "LOOKS" of the S2k and Insight alternatives. But if I loose reception then it ain't worth it. I kinda like the Antenna Button/Switch I found on a DIY on another site. This is so the Antenna (stock one that is) won't go up when you listen to CD's

I agree the OEM works well. But the oem antenna just can't go in and out smoothly when it's crooked. (most likely cause by HW driving)... and sometimes it just stucked and half of it still sticking out even when the radio is off...... I tried with WD40 but still it doesn't do the job....

I got the same problem as you do. Someone just pull my oem antenna.. I'll look for s2000 antenna.

Personally, I think the OE antenna degrades from the lines of the Integra when raised. My OE antenna worked great just as my S2K conversion did. Trey came up with a cheap viable solution to make the car asthetically more pleasing (to some of us) for very little cost.
