sohc zc
A sohc ZC is basically a D16A6 with a different cam. Stock, I think they make something like 110 - 114 hp.
It might actually be cheaper getting a D16A6 and a cam for it, then spending the money on a sohc ZC.

The SOHC ZC is a d15b . The JDM D15B had a 3stage vtec motor that put out around 130hp, and had great emissions. It was offered in 92+ civics in JDM. D15B found in 88-91 cars was a non-vtec dual point POS.
More info can be found at http://asia.vtec.net/specs/egcivic/ and http://www.geocities.com/gkurk...C.htm

I don't know how you know sooo mu ch about that d15b and not know about the earlier model ZC.. which is NON-Vtec and puts out 130ps or 118 HP .. it definetly has some pull on stock SI's .. i have sohc zc in my car :-) is good and pretty inexpensive, looks relatively identical to the d16a6 but has ZC stamped on the block

and paste it into Babelfish http://world.altavista.com
Then maybe we can relate some correct information...

to clear this confusing *** thread up there is:
sohc zc (non-vtec)
dohc zc (non-vtec)
sohc zc (vtec)
sohc zc (non-vtec) has: wilder cam and ~30% better flowing head than a d16a6. i've also read it's though to have the same domed pistons as the dohc zc, thus increasing compression over the d16a6, but that may not be true.
the other zc's i know nothing about...
