GM Syncromesh
Ok... there seems to be a lot of people using this GM Syncromesh stuff on their ITR and having good results... The thing is on one of the threads I read someone say that the oil is too this for our cars... Then the subject of the thread changed so I reposted... Someone please give me some information on this... If it has no damaging results on our cars... I would also like to try this out...
I'm using the basic syncromesh on my EM1 now. So far it feels pretty good, a bit smoother than Honda MTL in cool morning drive. Definitely smoother when it's warm.
Btw it's around 14c-25c in Vancouver nowadays. The temperature mite make a bit of difference?

The GM sync is not too thin.
If anything it is a touch thicker than the Honda OE stuff. I prefer it simply because it gets rid of grinds or prevents them.
As I have mentioned, it will NOT get rid of severe grindage or somehow magically repair fAWked up p00p in your tranny
But it WILL help if you notice the car's 2-3-4-5th gear start to catch and scratch lightly.....
I fly the GM Sync flag proudly.... I buy the stuff in caseload now.
