Default name the best 14:1 pistons for built motor

were can I buy the best 14:1 pistons? I dont want to have to have some custom made I want some one that already has them made. I will be running big nasty cams.

weisco ib spec is a good piston, and so its the endyne rollerwave, once you get up into that high of a compression there all going to be custom made, i think?

When you are talking that kind of compression I'm sure your going to have you compustion chambers polished, head milled, new valves, all sorts of stuff that could really throw off your originally intended comp ratios. Your going to need to get all your head work and mill work done, then send in the specs to someone to have them make your pisons...

It's really hard to get 14:1 with Endyn Rollerwaves...need to run almost zero deck and alot chopped off the head. Only 7.4cc Pistons...

IB Spec Super Dupers are 9cc tho, so it's alot easier...

IB Spec Super Dupers!
That's what im using on my new motor, just in a custom lower compression ratio.

I was talking to larry over at endyn and I was told that with the roller waves and gsr head with stock chamber volume, that at 2.2 litre(my motor) that cr would be 15.24.1(dome volume 7.45cc)

yeah, but your motor is a 2.2..that's not we're talking about here. Your just using more stroke with the same piston to increase compression...

I understand that stroking the motor effects the cr. Yes if he is running the 1.8 it will clearly be lower.

IThe motor will be a 85 mm bore with a ls crank so it should be about 2.1. I think I am going with the import builders.

i wouldnt worry so much about the displacement, as much as I would make sure that the rod stroke ratio is good. people get too caught up in the "I have a 2liter stroker" idea. Also, you might want to make sure your have proper valve clearance. With a big nasty cam, you have to be careful. Bad R/S ratio will kill your motor.
