This is off a D16A,its 9.75" tall as you can see from the below pics.
The D16Z is 10.25" tall.
The D16Y is 10.50" tall.
(update)The Skunk2 is 12" tall

well i already have mine on the car but i measured it and to the back of the iac valve 13 1/4" it's way longer than the z6 im

thanks!..now I gotta measure one of my iac valves for the heck of it cause at 13 1/4 I dont think thats gonna fit in my 91 which measures approx 12.5" from cylinder head to firewall...oh well,i'll just have to save my money for something else

No Thanks..I have 1 sitting around somewhere...Maybe one day I'll see someone make a real turbo manifold that bolts on all the Honda Sensors like a Edelbrock Victor X for a D...it's just too bad Skunk2 designed this for N/A but what can we expect from a company that's NA biased anyway

BTW..I still cant believe they made this manifold that tall! I can imagine how many 88-91 guys that will be in for a surprise when they buy and try to install this manifold

The Edelbrock Performer X manifold is almost 12" to the back of the plenum, and 12.2" for the little part of the idle passage that sticks out past the plenum.

The IAC mounts under the manifold for firewall clearance, and all the vacuum connections install under the plenum for clearance as well. Much cleaner install than the Skunk manifold.

Thanks! ...I guess its too close for comfort on a EF,only leaves me with like .3" clearance between it and firewall

How close to the firewall does the TPS sensor come?

You made all the measurements to the manifold, but since the throttle body is straight, the closest item to the firewall is the TPS sensor. You should compare the measurement from the intake flange to the TPS to that of the Edelbrock manifold.

Whats the distance from the flange to the back of the IAC motor?

The IAC motor is 1.4" thick, and the bolt head is another .3".

So adding that to the other manifolds, its

10.2 inches tall for the D16A manifold.
12.2 inches for the D16Y
11.7 inches for the D16Z

The firewall curves in at the higher location the TPS sits at so there is more room than at the IAC location,also there is a brake line connector by the IAC that screws things up too...so it dont matter measuring over there(the TPS).
