damn.....flattest torque i've ever seen on a vtec engine

but your torque starts to fall after the vtec engagment. try setting it back some....seems like you have it too high.

So... if he sets his VTEC to engage earlier it will change the nature of his VTEC cam lobe and give him better torque? Wow! Here I though VTEC was simply switching between two cam profiles each with their own power curve guess I was wrong...

Im not too worried about the tq curve. 131 ft lbs is good enough for me with what little mods i have, and it pulls like a freight train. Im going back to the track when i get the chance, might rain tonight but well see

are you trying to be an *******?

but no, the vtec lobes are there to make power....not engage and then fall off. his is set REALLY high. If he set it lower...he'd have more RPM for vtec to work in and make the power it can.

i went to the 1/8 mile, pulled 8.64 at 81 mph with a 1.76 60' but, my 2nd gear is fugged and takes a while to engauge(have to shift slow). Should be a mid 13. When i get an Si or ITR tranny well see low 13s high 12s

I only had 150 bucks, and tuning is 100/hr. I was on the dyno for almost 2 hrs so I cant really complain, and im going back in a month or so once i get a hondata IM gasket and possibly icebox and larger injectors

Toda B's and C's love a higher VTEC engagement point. You can always do a test to find out, but I think tuning would play a role in that as well.

sweet numbers... but if you run your car with the header on most of the time, you should tune it with the header on, so it will be tuned according to that...

i tuned it open header bc thats how i run at the strip. adding an exaust isnt going to change the tune much, besides making less power and running a little richer

With that HP/TQ you should go high 12's on some 13x22x8.

With similiar Numbers 179&135 in a 2100 CX I went 12.71.

Good luck and have fun.
