are there any stamps or markings on the casing that could help us distinguish which tb it is? are you sure a y8 manifold doesn't have the same size tb as a few others? just a thought...

I guess this doesn't help but it's the same as one I got which I was told was off a B16a2.
It can't be though since the FITV is usually on the IM, not the TB. H22a perhaps? I'd like to know too

Who gives a **** where it came from? Trim the gasket to fit with some scissors and put it on your intake manifold. Nearly all the Honda TB's are interchangable: it's a lot easier and cheaper to cut the gasket you have than buy a new one. You're not losing anything by doing so.

well since i thought it was a y8 TB. i went ahead and order the gasket. i got it. the only thing that lines up its the holes for the bolts. other than that its too short. thats where i realize it wasn't a y8 TB...i order the 92-95 gasket. which i was told by the Honda dealer stupid guy, that all si,ex,lx,dx,cx,vx where the same...we will see how that goes. the civic gasket was only about 2 bux. while a damn LS gasket from acura its 9 bux.

i thought just the older cars had that big thing on the bottom of the throttle body. i know GS-Rs and Sis dont have that. from the looks of it, i think thats an old LS throttle body.

and whats y8? everythings gotta be reffered to by some kinda code these days.
