Well for those who have been watching me, i came up just a littel short of my goal of 11's. i ran a 12.7@114 on my street tires, and only 17#'s.

Then i used a set of small *** 20" slicks and went 12.2@117 with a shitty 2.0 60'.

Over all i am very happy considering the fact that i still havent cranked the boost all the way up and i have the MPH to go 11's in a SOHC.

I went to go back out to run another pass with higher boost, but when i got in the car to get in line, i have a serious issue with a axel. It was popping and clicking like crazy, and after further inspection i found that the axel joint had poped out of the cup at the hub assembly. oh well maybe next time.

Very nice numbers, maybe I'll drive down there someday during an event and we can chat. I have a built d16z6 that I'm finishing up now. I'd like to also see an 11 second pass, perhaps on around 22psi. Good luck!

This is what drag racing is all about. GO out there and have some fun! keep trying your almost there. try launching the car differently. and get some bigger slicks. im sure you will hit 11s your boosting so you should.

SOHC powah! Congrats you will be in the 11's in no time, like LuckyRacing said get some bigger slicks and you'll be in there.

 

OH yeah 11's are there just bring that 60' down to at least a 1.8

Yeah i have one of the runs on video, and in the back ground you can hear this redneck talking all kinds of **** about how the 4cylinder cars shouldnt be aloud to run, but when i ran my time his story completely changed. LOL

I go to mason every single sunday!! wether i am running my car or not. i go up there alot to help out friends with there lauches and ****.

he made my car go 13.7 last weekend and my non-drivin *** could only make it go 14.2
i need to learn how to feather the clutch off the line better
