Me and White S2000 going at it. I cought up to him and we went at it for a good 1.5 laps. He slides sideways, shoots blue smoke from his undercarriage (not sure what that is, oil maybe) and bounces of a LOT of berms. Great action. Size is 24.7 MB. Download Here .

I kinda was wondering the same thing. I am usually all over them. Yellow Dragon and I had an arguement about that. He said that you shouldn't even touch them. If you are fast, you automitically drift to them and use them to carry speed. Also, if you look at the races on TV, they are all over them too...

 

Hey, does Katman have a GSR swap? Anyway, I was all over the *** of a gray hatch with a GSR swap, and then we finally come to the front straight. I am thinking, "Good, he will finally let me by." Next thing I know is, the driver is waving as if to say, "Bye bye." That sure shocked the hell out of me as he didn't pull at all. Then he finally realized that he wasn't faster and let me pass. I thought that was a pretty 'ballzy' gesture...

 

At ButtonWillow it is an exemption, because those red and white curbs are very slick thus don't provide much traction. That's why many people don't use them. And some curbs specially on the apexes are very elevated and upsets the balance of the car when you go over it. As you can see on the video I try to get as close to the curbs with out actually rolling over them..

yes..I was waving..because I WAS leaving you on that long stretch......I was watching my rear view the whole time and the gap between us increase for a short period of time..but then..haha..I was coming up to turn 13 a lil fast and my brakes from the day before were a bit worn....
Might sound like a cop out but it's true...it was a fun battle though

another cop out I'd like to add is that I wasn't on all 4 race tires...
I had a shitty tire combo: 205/15/50 AO32R's in the front/ 205/15/50 AVS Intermediates in the rear..
I wish I had AO32R's all over I would've driven faster dammit!

I too was trying to hand Kat his **** on the straights but....the heavy hatch didn't have enough turbo,NOS'ed HP to keep up with the TT colored Hatch.

 

Jeff, when charlston signaled you to the right of him on the straightaway coming out of the hairpin, that was the designated passing lane, the passenger side.

 

I agree, passing should have been done off the "line" but to save confusion, we agreed Sat morning, to make all passing on Drivers Left. Maybe not proper but simple.

Passing was on the left only, and the left side of the track was the racing line at that point . . .

It's all good thogh. Made for some good footage.

I was late on Sunday, so I didn't make it to the drivers meet. I did let you pass eventually when you were all up in my *** on a couple turns... I was enjoying leaving gaps between cars and mine on straights...need more practice dammit, first time back on the track since..January. You are the man.

 

In that case, my bad Jeff. I've been letting faster people pass on the right in that section the whole day and even the wizard passed on the right. Anyway, like you've said it's all good! Thanks again..
