tein lowering springs any good
me and 5 of my friends need some lowering springs and was looking at the tein lowering springs are these any good. Someone told me that i dont need any camber kit for these is that correct? are the tein better springs than the h&r race springs. i have tokico illumina that im about to pair these up with which is better set up H&R with tokico illumina or tein with tokico illumina let me know
Cambers depends on how low your car is lowered.
I don't have TEIN springs but I do have the TEIN HA coilover for DC2 and its great! Best money I have spent on my car.

My boy had them on his civic. Those spings are more for looks than anything else but they do tighten up the suspension a bit and there is less roll. They have rubber where the spring meets the pillowball mount to prevent noise. Also, They dont lower the car much~1.5 inches. I just ordered them for my RXS-S

the tein lowering springs that im might order is 2.7 in the front and 1.7 in the rear drop which is better on a 205/40/17 size tires the H&r or tein (H&R is 2.0f, and 1.7r)
The Tein STECH springs are a 2.6" front 1.7" rear with spring rates of 336 front and 274 rear. Depending on which H&R's your going with, I'm assuming you meant the Race because the are 2"front and 1.75"rear you will need a camber kit. The Race springs have rates of 455 front and 360 rear so they are way stiffer. You will need a camber kit with either set.
the springs are very good in quality in comparison to other makes.. check out http://www.evasivemotorsports.com they have some good deals rite now on them, i believe 30% off
right now i can get the tein lowering springs for $150 to my door or i can get the H&R springs for $133 to the door if i order 6 of them the same time what is well worth the money and something that i wont regret getting
I just helped my friend install the Tein S-tech springs. Overall the drop looks very nice, the drop was lower than I was expecting though. I have to say that the spring rides very well, it feels like the stock ride. However, I would go with something else if you want something that handles better than stock. Those springs are just to lower the car, not to give you much of a handling improvement.
what do you think about skunk2 lowering springs any good? hows the ride and handeling in them they supposed to drop like 2.25 front and back. cause i can get a good deal on them like $130 to the door let me know
