Help Neuspeed Front Strut Bar won't fit
Need some help.
I bought this bar off someone used on ebay. He had it on a Civic SI. It should fit on my car. But i only get 1 pair of bolts on.
Do i need to bend this? shouldn't it just fit on? I need like 1 cm to get it in the hole.

what? that made no sense
you have to pull it in, stretch it alittle
I am 150lb, if I can do it with my hulk strength, you can too
unless of course it's simply not made to fit

Mine took a little persuasion to get to fit. You will either have to modify or remove the support (the thing that is holding the hose in the first picture) that the front mounting point is hitting on the driver side, but it should fit.

its a bit tricky.. I purchased my bar from a person that owned an eg. I had to barely fit the right side of the strut bar over the bolts.. then tug on the other side to slide the bar over and into the left side. you seriously have to muscle it.. i was sweating..

Looks like you snapped one of your oem strut bar mounting points.

No amount of stretching will help. I doesn't fit. They have different part #'s.
edit: if its a 92-95 Civic Si then yes it fits. I was assuming you meant 99-00 Civic Si, in which case see above

no dude like jacking up the car think about it one side being pushed up and some of the weight going to the other side??? some guy did this to put on a strut bar, I think I read this on team integra
If the part works then does it really matter? And if it works well, does it really matter? Cars are made with parts from a variety of countries so I don't think one extra foreign part will make a difference. Jacking the car up from the center of the front crossmember will help, it did on mine.

i got a 92-95 civic neuspeed baron my del sol after some pulling and hitting downward. it passes the threads but i accidentally knocked one of my camber kits down all i did was push the upper a arm back and all was fine. the only issue i ahve now is that it is right against the brake fluid resevoir. anyone else have this problem? i am using an itr brake booster with 15/16 master. it pertrudes a lot mroe than the stock booster with 13/16" mc. i worry that a hole would be rubbed into it now. is this an issue anyone else had?
also just because it is different part numbers doesnt mean it isnt the same thing. for example. i called h&r cause i recieved the wrong springs fro my del sol (i got the 92-95 civic ex coupe) and part numbers were completely different. they told me it was the same exact springrate and same spring, just labeled different for "inventory management" look at all dc sports bars. same **** for civics to itnegra, different part number.
anything not made in america is import. bmw mercades anythign european is import. funny, if i had money i would get a holden comador and race with american muscle with my "ford", sporting the import image.
