Default Front crossmember

Has any one upgraded to a z10 or a place racing unit?(or any others)
If you have could you please post pics, prices and where you got it.
I have allready cut mine to fit my Kooks header but my new SMSP header comes out to far on the bottom and I am not willing to trim mine anymore. Also has anyone measured how much room they gained for the downtubes? Thanks

That was the only way I could fit my DC 4:1 header, and now there is a ton of space!!!!Something you will not be used to with 4G Civic....

what the hell is a kooks header? i have heard about it, but never seen it or know anyone with it. where do you get it from? the place cross member clears up plenty of space. it is a cross member, it is almost impossible to f that up. z-10...top notch products. what is your ground clearance like red civic t with the dc 4-1 header? shouldn't be good. i had the mugen header and banged that thing to hell. it had no clearance...about 1 inch tops

Ground clearance SUCKS!!!And I have Eibach supposedly ProKit but seems like it is about 2 1/2 inches lower which looks good but not good for around DC streets, plus I weigh 210 lbs......

Default z10 crossmember

Thanks for looking at our products.

As far as the radius arm kit goes, our kit is quite a bit different than the place kit. I personally know of three people who bought the place kits and the kits did not even come close to "bolting on". They had to be drilled/grinded/bent to fit. Also, the added clearance is still minimal, as the crossmember is still in the oem location, it is just smaller (and flexier)

Our kit actually moves the crossmember forwards about 3 inches, moving it between the tow hooks and stock crossmember location. It is a twin parallel tube design (for breif info on why visit http://ferrari.colowatch.com/php/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=ENDYN_Tech&Number=2338 4&page=&view=&sb=&o
and gives you 5 3/8" of clearance off the block.

The real benefit of our kit really comes from the adjustability of the suspension and the fact that you get rid of the steel radius arms and the sloppy rubber bushings. We replace the factory radius rods and rubber bushings with cnc machined 6061 t6 rods, and steel rod ends. This not only is a slop free design, but allows for fully adjustable caster. Also we have the option for you to run the smaller 92-95 civic radiators, freeing up even more space. I think there is something else cool but i cant remember right now. If you have any other questions, just respond, or email me. I hope this helps

Cool to have an option, but the PlaceRacing unit worked out very well on my 91 Civic EX. I had to get this because of lack of space for DC 4:1 header with stock crossmember. Now I have more space than I am used to, and quite happy. It does not seem as strong as the stock unit but I think it should work out fine, or at least has so far......
