Default The OEM Kit Weekend [before and after pics included]

I chose this weekend to install the OEM kit and take care of other odds and ends. (A/C recharge, disassembling/painting/reassembling the rear calipers, etc).

Most, if not all of the work on my car was performed through AllCars AutoCare in Queens NY. I've been going to them for over a year and have not been disappointed yet.

Here are the few photos taken on this project.

The install

The first photo afterwards

At the end of the day...

I have promised photos on how the rear valances were locked down on the bumper. They will be posted once i get my digital camera back. With all the OEM excitement, i left my camera at the garage.

Drive safe and enjoy the summer!

but he's got the "Honda" badge on there as well, so it's all good.

Where else on the car does "A" or "Acura" show up besides the steering wheel and outside badges? Everything else says "Honda".

Good catch. The airbag which had the Acura logo was replaced. The only other "Acura" you'll find here is on the owners manual. I'm not about to go reprint a cover

Thanks for looking

The car came from the UK and had the rear fog installed. Given the nice wiring job, I decided to leave things as is.

AllCars is located in Woodside, Queens right by where the Long Island Expressway and BQE meet.

Being that i started out with an acura in college, i never had much money to spend on the car. I find their rates competitive from the other shops in queens.

I started going there for maintenance and mechanical work through a referral but ended up bringing my cars there for everything from body repair to aftermarket upgrades, the works. I used to bring my cars to two other "inexpensive" garages in Flushing, NY. They either took shortcuts and damaged my car (in unnoticeable places), or left me with dents or scratches which i never had before i brought the car in. The guys at AllCars would ask about some odd things they found and it helped me uncovered things i would have never known. I guess the extra step they took with me helped me learn more about taking care of it and about the mechanics. It one of several reasons why I dont hesitate recommending them.

Next weekend, they are going to bring my car to VTEC to do the alignment. That i'm excited about.

Beyond the comptech lip and type-R spoiler, there's nothing type-R about it. Unless you want to come shave my moldings, slap on a 5 lug conversion and put stickers on my car

Oh, i do have a type-R rear sway bar... but that's only there for cosmetics
