Default Is Skunk2 a good company?

I heard Skunk2 don't even make their own things. People told me that their coilovers are made in Thailand or somewhere in Asia. Also their, intake manifold and cams are just like the Civic Type Rs. The ecu jumpers are really made by "Field" but Skunk2 just copied them. Is this true? Are their coilovers even worth the money? Please give me some input. Thanks.

I personnally think Skunk2 is a great company, their products are some of the best out there. The coilovers , ECU and everything they make is top notch quality. the people who say otherwise either can't afford them or are just rice boys...

Skunk2 makes good stuff. Sure it's made over seas, but what isn't nowadays????

I have the coilovers, cam gears, springs, retainers, etc.... and it's all good quality for what you pay for.

Is there better stuff out there? Sure, but when a set of cam gears only costs around $200, as opposed to $300+ for some others, what would you rather do??

Then again.... who DOES actually make their own products nowadays?? Besides Eibach and H&R I think all coilover and springs are made by another company and just slap on a label for them. As far as Skunk as a company I've heard both good and bad. I have the Skunk cam gears... I havent put them on yet cuz my motor isnt finished. I hope they arent inaccurate or slip which is a problem I've hear some many people complain about. As far as the coilovers.... for the same money I'd get Ground -Control.

I dunno about what they changed when they switched over to Skunk2, but I have a set of the Skunkworks Coilovers and they use cheap *** material, the sleeves tend to crack, warp, and deform.

I think thats the problem... the stuff might not be any good! I just hope that Skunk stands by there product. If I have problems with my Cam gears I hope at least they'll exchange them or refund my money. A company is only as good as the support behind for the products they sell. If you stand behind your product you will last a long time in any industry.

Skunk products are both good and bad. First they are all made in Tawiann.

The good products are there intake manifolds (ITR copy to fit GSR or LS head), cam gears (never had a slippage problem, and the look nice, and are light), strut bars (exact copy of spoon bars).

Bad products are there coilovers (sleeves tend to crack), cams (well at least the first set anyways), and shiftknob (heavy, and ugly).

They dont produce any products themselves. They just have them shipped over, and have a label slapped on them. But most companies do this anyways. Just buy the stuff you like. I recommend eibach for coilovers, or some expensive JDM full race coilover shock combos.
