Default FS: Tanabe Sustec full coilovers (shocks and adjustable springs)

Update (7/6/03):
Here are the prices & options to clear things up...

$660 w/ LCA's shipped
$610 w/o LCA's shipped

OR

$630 w/ LCA's local pick-up
$580 w/o LCA's local pick-up

No charge for PayPal. No trades.
These prices will not go down again. This IS rock bottom.
Email/AIM/IM with questions and offers.

Just bought these, and they are back up for sale! My loss, your gain.

They have been used for ~8k miles, are in good condition as you can see in the pics...just some typical dirt/grime from being under the car...

They are 400 lbs/in spring rate up front, and 600 lbs/in spring rates in back, great for Honda cars to reduce that understeer, simulate a FR car in your Honda!!

They are made for an Integra Type-R. So you will need the rear ITR LCA's. With the LCA's, they will fit 94-01 Integra's and 92-95 Civic's. Not sure about others.

Previous owner told me they retail for $1300 new, so this is a great deal, don't settle for a pieced togther suspension, get the entire Tanabe product!

How long were they on the previous owners car for? Any leaks? Why are you selling them?

these were a friends coilovers...

they are in excellent shape...he doesn't think they drop the car low enough...go figure...that is his reason for selling.

remember, these are genuine JDM coilovers...they are not going to SLAM the car...

really nice thuogh...

They were on his car for 8k miles or less, not sure there...been on my car for 100 miles.

No leaks.

I am selling, as "chet" said, due to a miscommunication. I was told the car would be lower than it turns out is even possible with these, therefore I am interested in something different. Not that the car is high or anything, just a matter of taste I guess.

Anyway, these things are great, they ride perfect and feel new. I love the spring rates on them, I feel the stiffer rears are great for our Honda's. LMK if you have any more questions

So what exactly is not low enough for you?
Is that black dc the lowest they go?
where you located?

they lower the car like every other good jdm coilover...about 2 inches or so.

its not beneficial to lower a street car anymore than that...

Yeah, that black DC is them on the lowest setting...right at the top of the front tire (195/60/14 tires)....and a 1/2"+ above the rears, depends on weight back there...

I am an hour north of Sacramento, in Chico, CA. LMK if you want closeups of the car sitting above the tires...I can post them.

Strange, I have the exact coilovers: Tanabe Sustec Pro SS and if I spin the collar all the way down the car is slammed, covering about 1/4in of the tire. Anyways, these coilovers rival the other JDM coilovers (Teins, Zeals), which I've personally driven. So the secret is out about the Tanabe's...Anyways, I can vouch for polyphony_digital,

SactownXSi (aka Nick), don't keep in touch with me anymore huh??

Not sure about yours, but these are as low as they go...maybe your car weighs more? or could just be a slightly different model, since these are true JDM.

Yeah, the ride is great. It is comparable to the Zeal S6's (which cost me $1800 new)...not as good as them, but not completely different either. These are definately a great setup for the price especially for my price of $675 shipped!

sorry for the confusion on trades...not looking for stock (I have that )....

I am looking for anything from Koni Yellows and GC's....(or other shocks/coilovers)...
to a nice set of Tein's or Zeal's and I can throw in some cash (depending which model of course).

Let's see some more offers
