i'm doing the prepe work on my car right now
just sand the whole car down or sand blast it
to take all the paint of them give it a couple of
coats of primer, then just keep sanding the car
starting with a 240 and make ur way up to 600

i might be able to help... if you are painting the entire car (inside and out) then here's how you do it. first the door jams and inside that's going to be painted. the best way to sand these areas down is by using scrotch brite. you heard me scotch brite. use the brown onE. sand it down really good. then when you think you've sanded it all, sand it a little more but this time using water and the scotch brite. dry it off if you can with a air blower, if not, let it dry completly, what this does is it allows you to see what spots you missed when you sanded. if it's shinny, it needs more sanding. so just sand everything til it's dull. once that's done, then comes the outside. if you're car is stock paint then it's pretty easy. leave all the dents and other crap to the body shop, bondo and dent pulling is for only pros. anyways, using a soft sanding block and 420-500 grid wet sand paper, sand the whole car down basically til the outside of the is dull also. remember to use water with the sanding paper cause it makes it easier. use the same techniques for the outside as you did for the inside. it's pretty easy. i've done it soo many times.
