I have some 195/60R14 Falkens on some 14x5.5 steelies if anyone is interested. I hadn't considering selling them, but I may change my mind. They have about 50% tread left.

That said... i'll let this post slide becuase those tires are so damn hard to get, for now.

Yeah I was on the Tire.Com site the other day and all 4 shipping points were in good stock for the 205/50-15s. Another reason to only buy from Discount Tire Co. Damn I need to get some stickers for my car to mount on mags, I'll show my support from them while Auto-Xing.

i called http://www.edgeracing.com, b/c they had them for 63 bucks each, BUT shipped they still were 297. i ordered online from tires.com last night. 296!!!!yea yO!

 

Gonna need a new set of 14s in about of month... Mine are about dead...

 

better get on the backorder list now... I did yesterday...

Indeed, but Todd, Joe on C-Bus gets up pretty good deal on tires . A set of 14"s mounted, balanced, and with waranty for about $240. Each tire was $45 a piece.

 

Just got mine from discount Today...Only problem is I was so jonesing (?) to put them on (haven't picked out any wheels for autoxing) that I just had the shop throw them on my slips....

Funny thing is I was at the same tire shop about a month ago putting Yokohama's on those same wheels. Yep a waste of money, will I regret it? Not on Sunday!

How come when I went place an order on the tiredirect web site, it added Ground Shipping to the $296 for a total of $330? The web site says FREE Shipping on everything as long as you select ground shipping. Maybe they haven't updated their ordering system yet. I 'll try calling them on Monday.

When free shipping is included it's not so bad, especially if everyone else was saying there was a 3-4 week waiting period.

Well I paid $62 in 2001 so yeah I still think $74 each is a discount.

So what do you think is a discount price since your asking???

 

I paid $63/tire last year, free shipping from tires.com/DTD.

Seems like someone is capitalizing on supply and demand.
