i was just wondering if i could cut and tap into the usdm wire to wire the jdm hid lights?
or do i have get it wired from the source?
Also are the guages different on the wiring harness of the usdm and jdm wire's?
if so would it hurt the hid lights or burn the wire, if i tap into wire's of different gauges?
thanks in advance

yup... i used USDM wires and female connector plugs to wire it up... i did have to buy some wire (for extention) to make them all fit... just use ur stock setup to their respective JDM ones, ie low=hid, hi's=hi's, and blinkers=blinkers... as for the ground, just do a common ground from all wires...

tho it was suggested to me by Mike @ IPS (at least I'm pretty sure it was Mike) that it's a good idea to combine 2 ground wires (I used my original hi beam ground and low beam ground) to plug into the ground on the JDM headlight... reason is since all the bulbs INCLUDING the HID run thru that same ground, it would be better to run a "bigger" ground connection.
