Thinking about getting these. one of our members has them. Basically a stock looking headlight unit but instead of the lines in the lens its clear. This has to help some with the beam pattern. Worst case scenario I would take these lens's off of the housing it comes with and transfer them on to a stock housing.
These take H4's (no BS light like the after market H3 projector headlight replacements).
Most likely I will try to score these tomorrow. For anyone looking to HID's this might be a worth while part.
What do you guys think?

My question is, does the high/low beam feature actually work with what you ended up getting?
Its kinda hard for me to tell in the pict if the lines are a part of the reflectors or on the lenses. My guess is the reflectors...but it is truly hard to tell.
ANyway, i think thats a great idea if the lenses are truly clear. I'd like to see your results/beam pattern when done if you go this route.
I've got the denji projectors (with bi-xenon projectors swapped in). For me, its a pain in the *** trying to align these projectors. Its hard to get the projectors themselves pointing STRAIGHT out. My drivers side one is pointing in quite a bit, so it looks a lot more blue/purple than my other side.
Anyway, i think it'll be better for oncoming drivers by using those clear lenses. I just wonder how much glare there will still be by throwing HID's into a crappy H4 housing...
. H4 housings are known to be the worst to retro HID's in.
Goodluck!

You can't just put those clear lenses onto stock headlights. Those headlights in that pic have freeform reflectors made to be used w/ clear lenses (no prisms). The prismatic lines on stock headlights are there for a reason, as they help spread out the light so you get enough coverage of light onto the ground.
If those freeform reflectors work well, then
to them.

Mine works fine. When activated it seems there is more light that goes further.....that description sucked.

Regardless if those few lines are in the lens its still got to be better then the stock ****. I'm being optimistic I guess. My glare isn't that bad with the stock housing. This should make it look crisper (Hopefully). I might try to contact a few companies anout making HID friendly H4 acceptable headlights for our cars and see what they come up with.
Until then I'll try these and see hat happens. I will let you guys know. Any one else have any opinions about the headlights.

Dont take this wrong...but
I just find it crazy that people are still buying these "kits" and thowing them into non-OEM HID housings.
GO on eghey and find some bulbs/ballasts/projectors from any audi/bmw/MB/etc..and for around 300-450 bucks, you can get everything you need, and even bi-xenons for under $450 (not including different headlights though..). Thats about the same price as some of these "kits" that will only end up throwing out a ton of glare (some more than others).
It only takes a little time and effort to retro these projectors in. Really, its not a big deal to throw them into a reflector housing. If you go with the aftermarket projector housings like what i did, its a pain in the ***, but well worth the results. I actually love driving at night now. Before i was honestly scared because i've gotten in a deer accident at night.
Anyway, just my two worthless cents

I appreciate it. I've had my Phillips hylow kit for 2 months now. Not getting rid of it so I'm making due with what I have. Most that have seen seem to like it. I don't blind on coming traffic. I never get flashed. My buddy said it just lights the whole road up.

I got my kit from 1 of 2 authorized Phillips retro fit light distributors. I haven't gotten flashed once in the last 2 months. I think that since HID's are naturally brighter then regular Halogens the prsim lines aren't needed. Hence hopefully a more focused beam.
I'm hoping anyway. Worst thing that can happen is I sell these on ebay and make my money back.

check out here http://www.zukko.com/julian/accord/ - the owner of the site told me about Ecode (ECE) headlamps "ecode headlamps can be bought from a dealership call bnewton honda in england" I thought about trying to get them for a euro (LHD) CTR - if they make 'em
BTW you can see they still have the lines in them tho (i think)

trying to figure that out now - they seem pretty impressive when using HIDs (you notice he got his HIDs from autolamps too
...I will edit this when I find out (probably tomorrow) sent them an email
