Default Where would you mount your gauges?

I was planning on using an instrument cluster bezel for my '00 civic but I was planning on running more than 2 gauges. My buddy has offered to make me some carbon fiber molds to hold the other gauges and I was just trying to get an idea of where you guys would mount yours if you had the choice. I don't want to put them on the pillar because I like it being a little more stealth. I was thinking about molding something for the compartment that is in front of the shifter. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

i keep mine simple , function over form , gauges are there to be looked at and seen or else what the point of monitoring something thats out of site or hard to see, so i have some gauges on the pillar and some on the steering colum , bezel whatever you wanna call it.

sorry the pic is so horrible...
i custom made a gauge pod in my center AC vents because my car never had AC anyway, and i had 3 autometer gauges. they're pretty stealth. people in front of you just see a clean dashboard. they're sort of visible from the back but most importantly they're easy to look at.

you could try using an instrument cluster bezel, and then putting 2 gauges in surface mount pods on the steering column... that seems fairly out of the way, yet visible.

Thanks for the high quality pic, I think that pod looks good in your car, I just want something a little bit different for my car, make it a little more unique. U know.

I can get a decent view of the ones that would go in front of the shifter, but obviously, I would put the 2 gauges there that would be least viewed.

I would go with the 2 gauge bezel that goes by your gauge cluster.

Also, anyone seen the "Frog Eyes" from AROSPEED? It puts two more gauges on top of your dashboard right in front of you where the hump in the dashboard goes up. It puts them in the corners.

http://www.arospeed.com/frogeye.htm

Its cool but too expensive, I'm waiting till they or another company make one in black and much cheaper.

I did the same thing with my car. Looks super clean! I used to have them on my pillar but i had a hard time seeing around corners. This is much better.

Gotcha, how is everything coming along? I'll have to make it up to the shop one night and check out your car.
