2)Tools and Equipment
3)EFI Overview
4)Base Tuning the EFI System/Calibrating the Base Fuel Map
5)Calibrating Maps on the Dyno
6)Understanding Injectors
7)Tips on making and installing your wire harness

Info on Ben: "Ben is currently in the process of writing a how-to book called “How to build and Tune Custom EFI Systems” which will be published by Cartech S/A Design Publishing. The book will cover various topics on understanding and tuning fuel injection, along with an overview of nearly a dozen brands available on the market!”
I have a very nice hook-up on hotel packages for people who are interested in driving/flying out to the bay area to stay here for the weekend. Please email me for more info. I cant really help out on airline flights, best is to call the airline of choice directly. People can fly in to san jose, san francisco international, or oakland (prefered). They are all within an hour of the dyno.
For those not familar with the area, there are alot of nice resteraunts and bars in the local area. I am definetly expecting people to come out with us and have a good time friday and saturday night. There are a couple nice hotels within 5-15 minutes of where the tuning seminar is taking place.
turbo magazine will most likely be out there taking photos. As well as Tech tv getting some video coverage of the new tech powered movement of street and race cars relating to the computers that run our cars.

The payment will be needed about 4 weeks before the seminar. No pre-knowledge is required at all.
As long as you understand the basic about how an engine works and stuff like a/f. You wont have any problems learning alot of good info about getting your car tuned.
maybe ben can chime in about pre-knowledge and things of that sort

HI Guys!
We are just a few days away from the Texas event, and it is really shaping up! This is going to be a blast and I'm sure there will be something for everyone there to learn.
The EFI-101 school is designed to teach on all levels about fuel injection and its uses in aftermarket applications. You could be a shop owner who has been contemplating making the move away from carburetors, or looking to bring in the tuning business to your shop. You could also just be someone who is interested in finding out what tuning an EFI engine is all about.
The class covers the basics of building and installing a system, how it works and how to actually tune it.
On the second day of the class, we will have a dyno available for a tuning demonstration to really sink in the knowledge you will learn from day one.
Lunch and refreshments will be served.
The cost of the class is $300 USD and I will post up dates very soon for payment and where to send. Register early as this looks to be a fast selling class and space is limited!
See you guys in Northern California on August 23!

it was decicded in the original post that it would be in NJ. And i hope it stays that way
i think Sixtydash is taking care of the east coast one.

Yes, the East Coast seminar is almost all but taken care of. The reason the west coast seminar was easier to organize was becase everybody who is anybody lives in Cali, and everything is right there. Out here, everything must be carefully organized, to prevent any terrible instances. Also, Since the seminar is close to home for Mr Strader. The amount of people needed to cover costs is less, so less people, close to home = easy organization. hehe, either way, any east coasters who want to reap the benefits of Mr. Strader will only have to wait a lil longer, im awaiting Bens phone call as we speak right now. Its als going to help that by the time te East Coast date is set (sometime this weekend or early next week), the wst coast seminar will already have taken place. It will be good to get feedback from them and see how everyting went.

haha, same boat here. I know he is a busy guy, im like, just call me on my cell 24/7 whenever u have time....
cali was also easier to organize because the dyno spot is 5 minutes from me and all of the needed resources are very close to me and I have had good communication with people involved so far.
for the nor-cal seminar I want to keep it honda-tech only people. but unless we get another 10-15 people past the people that are interested, I am going to have to market this to other people. Its not a bad thing, I just wanted to keep this huge wealth of knowledge for the h-t community.
its all about the h-t
