ok, here is an update

Got the tranny on Mon June 23rd
First impression when i open the box is what retard packaged this thing. Nothing but cardboard box (what was left of it) filled with peanuts and newspaper. Sadly the tranny was packed with peanut foam in every nook and cranny.

It is totally covered in that cheap *** chrome/silver spray paint. I mean, he didnt even take the time to tape anything off. The seals, the bolts, inside around the diff, inside the bellhousing... everything is just coated in this crap.

I can tell its an LSD through the diff. I stripped all the paint off and it also has the original I4D LSD stamp from honda on the bell.

Now mike told me this was a complete tranny. It has no shift fork, no drain plug, nothing but the case, bell housing, and hopefully everything that should be inside.

Another thing, that ohh so popular plate isnt there.

Bottom line, i would not trust this cat.

I specifically asked you to give me tracking info by yesterday. Well yesterday is over and i have no info. That means i no longer want the transmission i sent you money for. Due to you not returning my telephone calls, IMs, and emails i want my money returned immediately.

If you see this message and have already sent the tranny please disregard.

If you intend to send it out today, after you read this message, do not bother as i will refuse shipment and dispute with the cc company when i see the shipped date.

Please just refund my $1287.50 so i can get a tranny from someone else!!!!

Wow, how long has it been?

 

It was supposed to be shipped Wed 4th of June. He said he didnt have anything sturdy enough to ship it in and needed til monday. Never heard from him and he is ignoring me. Or he got lost....

 

damn dude! tranny cant be shipped like in one day!

 

if you read the post it says it was supposed to be shipped last wed. And yes you can ship a tranny in a week, very easily.

And if you cant then dont say you will. Plain and simple.

 

i'm sure he has a good explanation. I dont know him personally but I've seen him sell a few items here on HT and I've heard nothing but positive things. I agree with you though about saying "if you can't, don't say." But it doesnt usually work that way. I'm sure he'll come through.

 

I met him a few times. Just give it a bit more time.

 

I too can vouch for him....My friend has purchased from him a couple times and been very satisfied. Although I didnt buy from him he was very helpful when I needed some pricing, etc. He will come through I believe

i'm involved now. sent a message to him and lets give him a little time. if noting happens then you'll have to contact paypal or however you sent the money to try and help you out. lets just give it a little more time. i know how its like to be without a ride for 6 months from waiting on parts.

 

little more looking around and i found him on eBay, looks like he has a couple complaints about procrastination. So im guessing thats probably all he is doing is screwing around. So i guess im just gonna have to wait.

This is just such a disappointment, im so sick of bumming rides everywhere.

Damn that's a lot of dough to spend on an internet purchase from somebody on the other coast. You couldn't find a tranny in your area? I've bought stuff off Mike before but nothing that big and he always came through for me. Hope all works out for you bro.

He called me last night, i agreed with him that if he doesnt have it shipped by monday my money will be refunded.
