Does Anyone have pics of a 5Ziegen Fireball catback on an eg?
I'm looking at getting this exhaust on a hatch when i get it..I did a search, but i didnt see anything with pics of the Fireball..Also I am considering The GReddy PE, Apexi N1, and Tanabe Racing Medallion..Pics of any of those would all be appreciated as well. To those of you that have the fireball, are there any issues with scraping? Do u like the sound?
Thanks alot
Thanks alot

Nice car blazin' Si.
I like the sound of the exhaust. high-pitched. probably pretty loud.
i don't know how it would sound on a different engine though. probably a bit deeper with D-series engines.
Apexi N1= LOUD as hell, but nice sounding.
Tanabe Racing Medallion= Also loud, not as loud as N1, but hella loud. but it sounds great. and high pitched
Greddy PE= sounds pretty good. and all GReddy exhausts don't sound too loud. pretty quiet at the low RPM's
If you don't want a loud exhaust, I suggest an Apex'i World Sport, or GReddy, cuz those are pretty quiet sounding, but nice.
Good luck with your choice.
I'm sorry, I don't have no pics, i'll leave that to the rest of you.

any one know where i can get just the REAR section of the fireball with prebent rear section piping? i've seen a couple on ebay awhile back but i cant find it anymore...
BTW it can possibly be as loud as my N1 with straight piping and hallowed cat going up the street @ 8 grand.... lolz.. hahahah

Its not a Catback (axleback) but U can't tell
unless you get on your kneez.
Enjoy
oh and I'm still thinking about selling it, since its already off my car. Gimme a good offer n we can blossom from there
sound is cool to me, not that loud on the inside but when you mash the gas and let the vtec kickin... you know wassup
, as for the scraping part, yes it sets lower than most other exhaust due to the angle that they made it; so yes it scrapes even when your very careful wit the granny bumps.

I agree that it is one loud ****. But its my toy so I dont mind.
BTW: This one was for a ek9 so the center pipe had to modified and the main muffler has it hangars attached with a band instead of directly welded.

Sold eight locally 7 broke @ the hangers (the 8th person disappeared).
That turned me off them.

I didn't read the entire thread, but let me add my 2 cents:
One of my good friends and former co-worker here at my shop had the Fireball on his 1992 Dx B16A hatch. Within a few months time the damn canister TORE where the hangers are welded to it in the rear.
He had since sold the car (not because of the exhaust
) and the new owner has had other hangers break off and there are at least 4-5 rewelds on that damn exhaust!
Another pal of mine has a fiancee with a B18C1 EK hatch that had th exact same thing happen to her Fireball.
They look and sound good, but I'm not sold on their quailty.
Anf before anyone says that the mufflers must have hit something, the EK is 100% stock ride height and neither canister had any signs of scrapage at the time of the hangers breaking/canister tearing.

What a coincidence!
The two I referred to were probably sold by you Hurrell!
The ones I'm referring to are Drew's and Mark Shantz's girl's exhausts.

BTW the next time my friend (current owner of the Eg with the multiple rewelded Fireball) stops by my shop i'll snap some high quality pics of the rewelds.

Yup...(Not sure about Dre's though Tom.
TJ's tore, Mark's (tore on his hybrid).
Taye (Garrett's bro with the 97 240) tore (actuall his tore 1st).
I can't remember who else but just with track record alone that isn't good.
