Default H22A Accord Power Steering

did a search didn't get what i needed

i'm tryin to run P/S
in a 5th gen , H22A 94

i've tried :
H22A-bracket + Acc.-P/S pump= no go
Acc.-bracket = doesn't even fit on H22A

as of now i have H22A bracket + H22A P/S pump
but the P/S line doesn't fit on it, the pulley and adjuster is in the way.

i've seen several pics and some people using Acc. P/S pump on H22's. How did they get the Acc P/S pump to fit on H22A? did they use a specific bracket?

or am i just goin to have to go to a fitting shop and get this customly done?

This is directly from A-D:

PS Line: You will need the PS line from both the Accord and the Prelude, and have the Accord lower half (that connects to the rack) spliced with the Prelude upper half (that connects to the PS pump.) Fitting shops can do this, it costs around $60. Make sure you get it long enough.

PS pump and bracket: Prelude pump and bracket

i went to 4 fitting shops when i did my swap, they all laughed at me

a 5th gen prelude bracket + pump + accord ps line is supposed to work just fine

Well obviously there is a way to do it. Try posting this in the TECH section, they might know for sure.

NickM: Why did they laugh at you? Said it couldn't be done?

you need the line, bracket and pump from the same generation h22 (if you have a 4th gen motor you need the stuff from the same gen... the 5th gen ps pump is different from the 4th gen

when you have all the stuff it will work fine

I am sick of reading about this. This is what you do
Get a 97 + prelude power stering bracket and use the
accord powerstering pump and hose. There easy and simple.
here is a picture of what I mean.

There you go simple as that.
