I'm pretty sure it's the oil pan that's done. Where do you take your car to get things like this repaired.

Aah, Kai.. sorry to hear what happened..
I hate Pittsburgh Road too.. I think I will need some alignment soon...
I will drive carefully now... good thing that I used to drive my lowered Del Sol, so now driving my R, I watched out for the roads...(as if I will scrape on something)

D will definitely help you out. hehe... D

Yeah, the roads around here are constantly changing...D and i were leaving my appt, and about a block later the road had dissappeared, overnight...it was completely torn out, just rocks and big evil manholes sticking 6 inches out of the "road". Then, 2 days later, again without any trace, it's paved perfectly. Gotta keep your eyes on the road, literally...that sucks. Have D take a look at it

I went home for lunch to take a look at it during the day...

Definitely a constant dripping of oil coming out of what looks like the oil pan. Do you guys know if there's anything immediately inside the oil pan that might have been damaged too? The dent looks about 3/4 to an inch deep.

Plus I busted the bottom half of my header. That's probably the only good thing that came out of this whole deal...now I have an excuse to get an aftermarket header.

Luckily I take the bus to work so I can do without a car for a while.

D - you busy this week? If you've got time could you possibly take a look at it. I live one block away from CMU. Shoot me an email chikai@andrew.cmu.edu when you get a chance

Thanks

I think it looks good... but Probably a Header or any other Performance related upgrade is better than that OEM body kit.... (I should've listened to you)...
well.. gonna have to save some $$... iceBox is next I think... if I can squeeze some $$ later on this month.

So I called Spitzer Acura today for an estimate...$9000 they quoted me. Is that a load of **** or what? They said that I cracked my engine block, my tranny, my oil pan, my exhaust, etc...what the hell!!!

Yeah I wondered about that too. Kelly Blue Book says my car is worth $9000-$9800. Any ideas as to what I should do?

Does anyone know what the legal limit is for ride height in PA?

Just talked to the insurance dude...

He said if I can find another shop that can do it for cheaper it shouldn't be a problem. Hmmm..does anyone have a spare ITR or GSR engine and tranny in Pittsburgh area? I'm definitely in the market to buy one.

Sorry about your car man...I know how shitty it can be down there. I'm about an hour north of the 'burgh, and the roads aren't any better up here.
