thanks

Between the cupholders and the cigarette lighter / ashtray console... made two L-brackets from some plastic pieces and superglued them to the VAFC... kind of a pain to reach, but it's accesible.

holy crap! i mounted mine there and i thought i was original. i did mine there too, pulled the headliner loose and used the original mounting bracket and cut a very small square into the headliner so it can still fold up when i park and its not noticable when looking in the car, i ran the wires under the headliner and down the pillar, yes the wires were long enough... just barely though.

I dunno how many times Ive posted this one already but oh well
Having it above the rearview owns. Its actually pretty hard to spot if you are looking into the car(only way you can see it is to get down and look up)

took the little vent out....traced the pattern onto 1/4 inch mdf board.
cut avc-r square out, then made another avc-r square (wood) to have a very small gap when it is closed. I drilled small holes in the "door" and put tiny metal rods in there, those are basically my hindges (sp?)......
It fits in there kinda like the factory piece, i had to make my own "pressure fit" tabs with little pieces of wood and superglue.
Its all manual working right now.....hopefully i can figure out some kind of motor/gear thing to pop it open and closed.
and the rest was superglue
