FIRST: I do not know the personal dealings between the people buying the chips and company producing them and I don't care to. Lets not make this into a **** throwing thread as I am trying to help solve a problem not create another one.

With that said, I have a proposition for those of you who bought the uber chip and now either have nothing, or have something that you cannot use.

I have a few used Hondata Stage 2B systems. We keep them basically for warrantee purposes, replacement parts, etc. Anyways, I am willing to sell these systems to those who can prove they have been wronged by the uber chip.

You would have to provide some sort of reciept or paypal statement, something like that as well as the chip.


Right now I am just looking to see if there is any interest in this. There are no hard numbers or availability yet. The Hondata systems will include a base map and will be fully tunable by any Hondata tuner. They will be significantly discounted from normal retail because they are used.

If anyone has any questions about this please do not hesitate to ask by e-mail or in this thread. If you would like to participate and can prove your dealings with Uberchip please let me know via e-mail.

Hmmm what are you gonna do with the Uberchips? Does hondata want them? I can see where this might lead..... Im sure they're curious about what makes those things tick.

Don't worry about it. I doubt anyone at Hondata is interested on more than an academic level, much as several PGMFI people have skimmed Hondata .bins, muttered "interesting," and then went on to write their own original code. Hondata already has a solid platform that works, has all the same features - and then some. I don't think Hondata would have wasted the $100 the first chips were going for just to do that...

I'll do anything I damn well please with my copy of ERM, Art.

My version comes with the PGMFI license which you can plainly see here. I don't plan on distributing it, now or ever. Making ERM freeware was Blake's original intent, but he "got sick of ungrateful tards." For the "please pirate ERM for my satisfaction" tards out there who should stop wasting time on HT and go push a broom at McDonalds - be aware that the regular ERM is copyprotected, and is a different program than the one I possess (altered MAP scalars and headings, as per my specification, and other speshul things).

Blake, however, might flood the internet with it as things stand... he has, being a 19yo kid with a high IQ and a short attention span, who's more interested in chasing ***** than working hard, made a good bit of mess out of being a businessman. Given what looks to be, at least indirectly, a move by Hondata to "help" ERM users, he'd probably release it out of spite.

I'm not threatening anyone, or passing along any threats... haven't spoken to B in two weeks now. However, I've spoken with him more than anyone else who visits this message board (or probably any other since he trusted me with a non-copy protected version of his tuner app) and I have a decent grasp of his attitude. I should know, I was just like him at his age.

You can do what ever you want with the software, but do not distribute it here on HT. What I am saying is even tho I do not like blake, what he did was great and I am against pirating his software. In other words, keep it legal.
