LS/GSR gauge needles on EG cluster?
i did the ambur backlighting "mod" to my cluster, (looks VERY nice BTW, and if you dont want that ring of sickness light, as you can see in this picture
then just pop off the clear parts that allow the light to shine thrugh, spray thos bitches black, and boom your set. makes mine look hellatight...) and at night my needles are somewhat very hard to see.. does anyone know if the needles are a direct swap or do they just not fit?

what i was aiming at is no matter what color they are, they just arnt that visible. i know for sure the ls/gs/rs/gsr/whatever clusters have the needles and they light up using the light from the 3 bulbs that light the whole cluster. so im going for some sort of illumination on the needles if anyone knows if the swap would work or what?
i was thinking of hooking up some leds in my cluster, replacing all the bulbs. i wonder if u can mount an led to specifically light up the needle?... ill post a how to if i do it.

The GSR needles don't "light up" like you are thinking. The color they are painted causes them to reflect some of the light, giving them the illusion that they are lit up. As stated earlier, try changing the color of your currentl needles. I would bet $100 that you wouldn't get away with a needle swap anyways without breaking at least 2 of the current ones. Even if you could get them off in one piece, good luck recalibrating the gauges.

and even if you paint them, if I'm not mistaken I believe they are weighted. so by painting them you'll have too much wieght and then they'll be all off, therefore not really having accurate readings one any of your gauges
