I just got it back today from Maaco. Cheap work, didn't expect too much. The color is Pewter Metallic. I think it came out alright. I'm about to go out in the garage and do my door jambs myself (so don't go about asking me why they're still red!), saved me about $300. Oh well. It's my beater.







Comments are welcome, as there is still much to do to this car exterior wise. Don't bug me about the taillight, exhaust and clear ambers please.

Ahhh, looks nice...but let's see how well that paint job holds up after a while. I went kinda cheap on my paint job (went to a place called Spray Glo) and I have regretted it ever since. Paint is chipping more than a good paint job should.

I was out of the scene for a bit until I cam across this beauty. Now over a year later, she's getting finished up. Took me some time cause as some of you know, legalizing a swap here in CA isn't the easiest thing to do. But I'm a BAR brother now!

Painting the clear corners amber now. Maybe I'll have some pics later. Still have to throw in the ITR interior and clean the carpets.

Looks good. Smart move on the Maaco, I just dont understand the logic behind paying $2k for a paint job on a car you drive everyday. The car WILL get scratches, dents and rock chips within a month anyway.

 

Could not have said it better. Both of my fenders and bumpers were replaced so I'll be making a trip to maaco very soon.
