Who has a SMIC in a CRX w/stock bumper?
It will NOT fit kinda sticks out below the bottom about 1to 1 1/2, but i have a aftermarket front end on mine so it fits nice...Also i ran the piping from the throttle body through the hole on the right side to the intercooler.. I made my manifold so i just ran my charge pipe between the crossmember and the rad. to the intercooler...let me know if you wants pics i'll email 'em to ya cause i don't know how to post them on here...

same here.. i wanna see some pictures on a hatch as well. should be the same. i just dont know where to stick this SMIC sucker at. where it came also grab a good amount of air.
i've been looking as well, i posted a thread awhile back about this as well.. after much debate and an hour trying to figure it out, i decided to put it under the hood where the battery goes, then i hope to build some kinda alittle sleeper scoop to help it vent, i have a 5" fan i plan on sticking behind it in the near future.
the only way to get it to fit good is it you weld one new pipes.. the stock ones won't work at all.. and good luck welding aluminium its a bitch... closes thing i can see working is if you have it horizantaly and cut out the side of the bumper support. i didn't feel like doing all that, then i'd still have to reweld the pipes coming off it.. i guess they work good on the 5th gens cuz they have no front crossmember. but ont he 4th gen's i've yet to see one look good.. even on the WW it still sticks out the bottom..

Here you go. This is a 1g DSM SMIC on my 90 CRX Si (stock bumper)

Not a lot of clearance!
In fact, I got tired of constantly worrying about taking out the entire SMIC if I hit a big bump.
So now it looks like this...(Spearco FMIC)
Stealth and no more clearance problems

i had to cut the bumper a bit to make it fit, nothing noticable. but it stuck out like crazy after i got the bumper back on, made me wanna get a starion, so i can have it hidden behind my bumper. plus i got a half radiator now, so it should be easier to fit in there.
