Default FS: 2000 Acura Integra R

As much as I hate to do this, I am choosing to sell my baby that I have put all of my blood, sweat, and tears into. Reason due to myself needing to put a house payment down in the coming months. Enough of the cry baby stuff. Here is the run down.

Car was bought originally in Boca Raton, Florida. It is a 2000 Acura Integra R Phoenix Yellow #0147. The car was then sold to myself after 19k miles of usage by the original owner (whom i know personally didn't drive the car but highway only as he was a college kid who commuted).

I bought the car in August of 2001. It was bone stock. Here are all of the modifications I have done over the past 2 years:

Engine: B18C5 --> never disassembled or taken out of the car.
-AEM CAI (wrapped in header wrap currently...see pics)
-DC Sports JDM header
-Carsound high flow cat
-SMS adaptor (reduces bottleneck after the cat in a Type R's exhaust system),
-Skunk 2 Stage 1 cams
-Titan Motorsports cam gears (knockoff Fidanza cam gear)
-AEM FPR
-Apexi VAFC
-B&M fuel pressure gauge
-Bored out stock throttle body by Leitner & Bush (new butterfly plate provided with service - increased throttle response)
-Mugen thermoswitch
-Mugen radiator cap
-Spoon thermostat
-Mugen baffled oil pan
-Removed power steering in favor of a modified looped rack
-Endyn breather kit (with drainback system into the back of the block)
-A/C is still on the car as it is Florida

Transmission:
-JDM Final Drive 4.785
-Comptech aluminum flywheel
-Exedy organic faced clutch

Suspension:
-Koni yellow shocks
-Ground Control coilovers with 400f and 450r spring rates
-Generic rear strut bar
-JDM rear sway bar (23mm)
-Cornerweighted and aligned at Irish Mikes Racing (local racing shop)
-Camber is -1.8 in the front and -2.0 in the rear
-Toe is 1/16th total toe out in the front and 0 toe in the rear
-The car doesn't sit too low to the ground (see pictures below)
-Falken Azenis on stock rims for street

Interior:
-Spoon duracon shift ****
-Sparco Lap 5 steering wheel
-Passenger side blockoff tray (passenger airbag will be given to buyer at no extra cost)
-Mugen pedals

Brakes:
-Axxis Ultimate pads all around for street
-ATE SuperBlue brake fluid

Other:
-ES motor mount inserts
-ES shifter bushings
-S2000 antenna conversion
-Removed rear wiper motor and wiper
-5% tint currently but can be removed for buyer
-Viper alarm system currenty installed

Maintenance:

This car has been maintained like a KING underneath my care. I always use 93 octane from Chevron (fuel system cleaner every 3-4 months). The car is washed every other week (waxed when needed). I change the oil every 2,500 miles with Mobil 1 5w30 Synthetic. I have changed the transmission fluid (Honda MTF only) at least 4 times since owning the car. All fluids fresh in the car (tranny fluid, oil, washer fluid, coolant). Nothing overlooked. Valves were checked on 6/25/03 and no adjustment was needed.

I have participated in 6 driver schools to further enhance my driving skills for such a wonderful and elegeant car. I reccomend them for driving this beautiful and extravagant automobile.

As you can imagine a lot of $ has gone into the car. I expect serious buyers only to respond to this post. Like I stated earlier, the car is in EXCELLENT shape and is ready to be had by an lucky person this summer. Car was NEVER abused and still purs like a kitten before VTEC opens up
It was dyno tuned by Angel @ Advanced Garage and made 185whp/130wtq with the graphs to back it up.

Price is set @ $22,000 firm

Here is a pic with my driver school wheels Rota Subzero's 15x6.5 w/ Advan A032R 205/50/15 with decent tread left (come with car for extra but trying to part with them right now)

Obviously these wheels have been re-painted RED now as seen in the other picture.

well... I hate to say it this under these circumstances... a car like this doesnt
come around every day. as you can see, it is in excellent condition, the mods
are smart, very balanced. having driven the car and seen it move, its not your
every day... hey gotta sell my R post. mike does in fact baby this car, it is used
on the track, however highly messaged and maintained. I wish I had the coin
to make him an offer

Other things that i didn't include in my post that would come with the car is a Snap On valve adjustment tool, 5 Hamp oil filters, some extra spark plugs, extra ATE brake fluid, etc.

Thanks Hoop. I just hope my baby goes to a nice home with someone who will use it in a safe environment and not street race or drag it although if that is what you want it for then money talks and bullshit walks

Damn Mike. I cant beleive your selling your car. I can vouch for this guy, he gave me a ride at Sebring and this car is SICK. Um, he also worked my *** too. This car has some scoot and is setup very nicely. I almost want to say have bad luck selling the car cause its so sweet. Butttt

Jacob ~

all good things come to an end. I am hopeful that i can get back into cars later in life. I know my roots

Jeremy~

That is a hose that goes to the oil catch can from where the PCV valve use to be. The oil catch can is an Endyn setup (pretty expensive) with the drainback into the back of the block.

Yeah i like having those shoulder pads on my harnesses as it is much more comfortable for me. I used to have the harnesses rubbing my neck a little bit and after say a half hour on the track it would be irritating and it was taking away my concentration. Simple remedy for a simple problem
