Mounting a Prelude AEM CAI in a 4th Gen Accord (H22)
I'm about to do this tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I'm assuming that the mounting bracket on the filter-end of the intake won't match up to a hole in the Accord body, as it's supposed to on a Prelude.
Has anyone put an AEM CAI on a 4th gen Accord with an H22 swap?

i actually have a friend that put an h22 in a 93 about 3 years ago and i am about to do the same in about a month...i asked him this same question and he said to go with the accord intake all the way...the piping is narrower than the prelude one so it should fit all the way...still take the dremel just to be safe...good luck and let me know how it turns out
you NEED the larger prelude piping........it's simple......you can scoot the battery a little toward the middle of the car, and run the pipe down behind where the battery sat........cut a small hole and set the filter in that little area behind the bumper..there's a little area that's completely sealed with just vents to allow air to flow in and when you get the stock intake out of it, you'll see....great place for it and it gets good cool air without a lot of dirt slinging up on it
