Anyone boosting 10-11 psi on a LS motor???

Just wondering around what whp and wtq range would this yield. i know turbo size, compression, and all sorts of other elements come into play but i'm just wondering what the average power output is on an LS motor is @ 10-11 psi.

im running a revhard turbo kit, 8.5 lbs right now, ran a 13.5 at the track with full interior, street tires, subs int he back, full tank of gas. boosted ls is the way to go

i boost around 12-13lbs. I think I started a trend around town hehe. mine only put down 274/237 on 12.5psi not as great as tony's dyno but oh well it was good 6 months ago. lol. usually 10-11lbs will put out 250-260whp w/ a standard t3/t04e turbo kit. good luck
Where are you guys hitting full boost around? I hit it around 4100ish on a T3/T04E .60 trim .63 AR @ 7 PSI. I had anticipated it would be more like around 3500
damn everyones ls turbo be putting alot of power down...my friend made 240whp and 210 at 11 psi...his motor is dying tho...maybe thats y...150 psi on all cylinders and decreasing...time for a build up tho...

Damn... I had 210-215 across the board, but my numbers are atypical for a b18b, it must have something to do with the way they tested it. The consistency in numbers is all I cared about.

we were running 20psi for over a year on a stock LS motor.. making 293whp and 272tq. Now we are looking at getting a larger turbo and making a bit more power. Cheezefrog is making 340 on 93 octane and over 400 on race gas.

I'm boosting 14psi and making 270hp and 250 tq. At 10-11psi I make 245hp and 220 tq. I'm using the Apex D-series kit. It's small but I make full boost at 3200 rpms.

sweet...thanks guys for the inputs!! I'm gonna be having Isaac up here in MN at elite autosports tune my ls turbo this coming up tuesday. i'll be running hopefully close to 11 psi. i'll post up my dyno sheets after i'm done. i hope to at least get close to 270 whp. if not, i'm throwing on a b16 head!

check out cheezefrogs signature, he has a video of him beating a 10sec (i think) viper on a roll with a stock bottom end.
the motor was tuned by st00pid. apparently, he's an amazing tuner. of course, the motor blew up -- from what i heard.

Someday you people will realize that it's not about manifold pressure. Manifold pressure is just that, manifold pressure, not sleeve pressure! Horsepower and cylinder pressure are what breaks things, not intake manifold pressure....

Huh? So what is the cylinder pressure at 20 psi? I just never heard of 20 PSI lasting long much less a year on stock internals. Please educate me. Thanks
275whp at 10psi is about right with a large t04e compressor or any t04s housing compressor.

ok to clear up a few things. cheezefrog is not running a stock bottem end. He is running stock sleeves w/ forged pistons/rods. Cheezefrog beat the viper and yes his motor did blow when they attempted to run 100(?) shot on top of 24(?) psi.. Basically they pushed that motor beyond the limits of stock sleeves and cracked one. get 2 thumbs up for trying.
As for the stock motor on 20psi. That is another car st00pid tuned. This girl Shami owned it and drove it for over a year. I don't think the motor blew, i think they are just putting a more aggressive turbo set up on it. Like tony said above. Manifold pressure is just pressure in the manifold. It does not tell you the pressure in the cylinders. Cylinder pressure is the only thing your motor knows. Cylinder pressure goes up with power and WAY up with detonation. @ 293whp cylinder pressure is not that high. If you can put the pressure in the right place(timing) it can be pretty safe on the stock internals and last a long time.
as for the new guy spoonfed95. Welcome to H-T FI. Yes, a stock LS handled 20psi. You don't have to believe it but the proof is there. Most people running bigger turbos like to stop at around the same power w/ stock motor but usually it takes less boost.

Actually we didnt just run 20 psi for a year on the stock engine.. we ran 20 psi and a 50 shot on several occasions. As tony and chris pointed out manifold pressure means nothing.. I feel 300 whp is a good safe power level for a stock B engine on pump gas. There are other factors like intake temps and compression ratio that affect the ultimate safe power levels. The turbo on her stock LS is quite small so the power level isnt phenomenal. A larger turbo would make the same power level at half the boost..
As for the tuning perfectly.. her car got the least amount of tuning time than any of the other cars I have worked on.. I would prefer to use the term CONSERVATIVE.. The A/F ratio was deep in the 11:1 range and the timing was ridiculously low.
