Last dyno chart of Apex D series kit on LS... it's topped out
Well, the turbo is finally tuned for max boost (14psi). It really doesn't do much to run it any higher I've found out. I'm pretty pleased with the power for my daily driven street car...
Mods:
-Apex'i kit on LS
-Thermal 2.5" cat back and test pipe
-Hondata S200
-440 injectors
-walbro 255lph pump
-Greddy type 24 intercooler
-Apex'i BOV
The only thing I can do from here is run a bigger turbo and build the motor so I think I'm done with the power aspects of my car's build. Now for stupid **** like seats and a carbon fiber wing... oh, and brakes.

I wonder what 3" exhaust piping could do for you? Nice numbers though.

I've been wanting to do the same thing to my b18b...not run 14lbs of boost..hehe...but get that Apexi kit on my b18b..but i have been trying to find out what manifold mates up to that Apexi IHI turbo...can someone give me some input on this....i've heard a mix of opinions..somebody told me the apexi turbo is a standard t25 flange...and someone else told me its a unique flange....please shed some light on this...

It's a t-25 flange but good luck finding a manifold that bolts up to it. It's kinda rare that the manifold gets thru bolted instead of the turbo.
I used the mani that comes with the kit.

most manifolds I've seen hold the studs and the flange of the turbo gets bolted to the manifold. Well, on the ihi turbo, it holds the studs and the manifold has the holes in it. Make sense?
wait a D16Z6 kit on a B18B1...how'd you get the manifold to fit? they fit? D Series to B Series, HUR???? please shed some light. What else did you have to change? the downpipe intercooler plumbing?

very nice curve. a/f looks great and the torque curve looks like tons of fun.
when do u get full-boost? i can't tell if its 3500 or 4000.

full spool by 3500. It takes longer to spool to 14psi than it does to spool to 6psi. It spools to 6psi by 2500rpms just to give you an idea.
Thanks Cody, but I was really surprised how hard your car was pulling last night. Man, I gotta get a CX! It'll be no time before your stomping my ***.
you might be able to sqeez another 5 to 10hp by leaning it out a tad more...but good numbers none-the-less
OK, for all the people who want to know how to make the manifold fit:
1. take the B-series manifold gasket and tape it over the d-series turbo manifold
2. scribe the outline of the ports and the mounting holes on to the d-series manifold
3. Grind away at the soft cast iron manifold with a hardened steel grinding bit that looks like a conicle cheese grater untill the B-series manifold gasket matches the d-series manifold.
4. Test fit and adjust and your done!
Easy pie and about two hours of work total. I did it sitting on the floor indian style with the manifold clamped between my feet. I'm sure it'd be a lot easier if you had a vise and a work bench. Oh yeah, I used an electric hand drill for the grinding.
