I have the Du-lock.... it makes a difference....
As for the installation, I will give you a tip that no one mentioned to me..... in order to get the bar to fit, you need to remove the large nut that sits in the middle of the bars at the threaded connection piont.
It bolts on the seat belt securing bolts. You do not need to cut the carpet.... You will need to use alot a force to get the bar into bolting position... its a TIGHT fit.
Hope this helps.

What kind of difference?
Also, is it worth the money you paid for it?

wtf? got ritalin?
wtf? got ritalin?
so how much does this do luck bar cost that you say is works. aerospeed makes one and it coss like 90 bucks. i don't think it does anything. you already have a frame piece in the middle of your car why you need another one.
the Do-Luck bar i got for my Honda Civic was INCREDIBLE! by far the best chassis stiffening device i came across. the feel of teh car was dramatically different in that it was much easier to control at the limit and felt much mor responseve. i can also jack up 1 corner of the car and open/close the door which was previously not possible on my car, so i know the chassis has become significantly stiffer. i give the Do-Luck a HUUUGE

I can do that on my Volvo station wagon. And can lift three tires off the ground from one jacking point.
I have a hard time seeing how that floor bar helps reduce chassis twist, unless it is VERY strong.

Sorry???? I was asked if the brace made a difference.... so, I responded that, yes, in fact it did make a difference... enough so that I could feel the car seemed to be more neutral going into corners....
I don’t take Ritalin, I prefer Prozac!

As mentioned, the brace connects directly to the seatbelt fastening bolts on either side of the car…. These bolts connect directly into the vehicles chassis.

Nah, this bar doesn't do anything just like the front/rear strut tower bars, tie bars, sway bars, etc. I have no idea why the Type R came with those.
