Are these REAL Spoon mirrors?
I just bought these mirrors from a fellow h-t member who shall remain nameless until I can prove these are not real, but I don't think they are. For one there is no weather stripping and aren't Spoon mirrors supposed to have convexed lenses? both sides have normal lenses.
damn is there any other way to tell? I have fakes right now and I can't tell the damn difference
Oh yeah and my sig is right, my car is suck

They're the same for the real Spoons as well.

It was also brought to my attention that the real ones also are identical while the fakes have that fatter part in the front where the mirror meets the side molding on the fakes. Thanks fowler

I had real Spoons - had the weather stripping. My driver's side got busted out though (I was trying to adjust it a little too far and stuck my thumb through it
) so I got it replaced at a glass shop. Original lens was plastic tho, I've got a pic somewhere of it shattered...

Those are 100% fakes.
The plates give them away as being fakes. Spoon/Vision use OEM Honda mirror blocking plates for bases while the fakes use cheap plastic plates.

the ones packaged as spoon had the weather stripping and the visions did not.. i had the visions on my car and they looked indentical to yours in the pic, even the flashing in the plastic on the top..
Look on the passenger side mirror, they're should be a scratch in it on the top part of the mirror in the plastic.
All real spoons should have it so I hear. Apparently there was a flaw
in the mold.
My spoon mirrors have the flaw, and many others do too.
