VERY Clean JR Supercharged 1993 Civic Si for sale w/much more
Yup...the MSD Knock Alert is useful. I would have rather opted for a J&S, but finds did not allow for it. I have the engine set up very conservatively so luckily I have yet to experience any knock.
It'll be ashame to see this car go. I can personally vouch for Carl & his car. He is a very honest person, and whomever ends up with his car will have a very sweet ride.
Good luck with the sale.

Hey Book Readar, its to bad your in MI otherwise you could come and check her out. I had the same worries about FI....but I have had the supercharger on for a while now (about 2 years). Without one problem. I think a lot has to do with how meticulous people are during the initial install and then the way they drive it there-after. I have left it at 6PSI the whole time. I have the JR MAP controller and the timing still retarded to a conservative point. I was not nearly as concerned with extracing a few extra HP as I was with having a relaible daily driver. The past year and a half I have put a large number of miles on it driving to a new school. Its about 35 miles each way...every day. So...point being....don't always drive like you stole it, be prompt with maintenence and just take care of things and you'll be fine.
Let me know if you have any real interest in the car. I have no problem shipping it out if you like.
