For the greddy SOHC kit, how do I mount a DSM BOV onto the piping? do I need to buy the flange and gasket from Road Race Engineering and have it welded on, or do I need a custom flange made? Also, do I need more piping to add a DSM SMIC onto the greddy non-ICed kit? Approx. how much?
easiest way is to get one from Road Race then have it welded on to your stock piping.
Or, if you have a dremel and a piece of sheet metal then cut your own. Cut the hole in your charge piping yourself then have a muffler shop weld it on.
cheers!

for the bov if u have the dsm bov with the small section of stock pipe u can have the stock flage chopped off and any good welder and attach it to ur charge pipe. the other alternative of course is to get the flange from RRE.
as for the sidemount, if u play around with it for awhile, u'll see how it'll fit to the pipe off the the turbo and up through the hole where the stock resonator used to be. i had to cut off a small curve off of the lower piping and it fits up nicely. i even got a metal bracket and made it fit so that it actually attaches the smic to the body of the car so that it takes some weight off of the charge piping.
here are some pics. its a del sol but u get the idea:
heres the ic on the right front of the car. it doesnt touch the tire at all, even at full turn.
not the best angle but u can barely see it from the front. if u have the stock fenderliner then people wont even be able to see it from the back

wait i'm sure the intercooler piping kit from greddy is aluminum.....your going to have to make the upper piping section out of mild steel for you to be able to weld the flange and an extension together....
