I hate the way amber turn signal bulbs look on my color of car (teal).
It looks 100x better with white bulbs in there with clear corners. But i want to stay somewhat legal because im sick of cops around here pulling people over for white bulbs, and you can barely see em during the day (which is the reason the cops are after everyone).

Any of you guys ever wire up a 2nd socket with an amber bulb that only blinks when the turn signal is on, and have a white bulb are a running light in the corners?

im trying to figure out how to do this somehow thru the use of relays and a few wiring tricks. I was just wondering if any of you ever thought about doing this. Thus providing the light to be white when on, and turning orange for a blinker?

 

When you have your parking lights on, you probably can't tell how well it looks, b/c it's night time. And if you are running them in the day time, you said you can't see the white anyway.

Just keep the amber bulbs in there. Much less likely to get pulled over.

 

thing is, at nighttime or dusk if i run ambers in it, they will glow amber.
I want to have the white lights on always to look like fogs almost, and then have them blink off as an amber bulb blinks on for the turn signal.

No cops ever gave me crap for it while the clears were just running on cuz they looked like fogs, but if when I've driven by cops at stop lights and had to use my signals, then they saw the white was flashing and gave me crap for it. U see what im sayin?
