well i searched and found a useful thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=502054 but in that thread is said that he had wiring problems and the diagram wasnt complete. i was just curisous to know if soe one could post a link to a good site that has a wire for wire and color for color diagram for the gsr cluster in the eg. i am sorry for asking this again as i have seen this post so many times too but i have yet to read a post about this that had a link to a good site with the exact wire for wire and color for color diagram for this project. thanx for any help

 

ok i found the wiring diagram for the gsr cluster. but now i dont know where to find the wiring diagram for the 93 civic cluster. can anyone help me out with a link or something please

Try that out... I haven't done mine yet so I don't know how well those work. But the guy said everyhting worked for him. I still have to wait for a free car to drive around when the cluster is out.

no problem, when you buy your cluster make sure they send the plugs that plug into the back of the cluster. You will need those. That is another thing that is holding me back from doing this project, need to find some plugs

 

in these pix of the cluster off ebay the cluster has 3 plug slots but the diagram instructions i got off that site u gave me only has 2 plug diagrams. i dont understand.. do u know?

 

I'm sorry, but I can't tell ya... like I said I haven't tackled the project myself. I can only ASSUME that the 3rd plug is a plug and play... maybe having to do with the odometer and hoopla like that.

 

possibly but in this picture below i found u can clearly see that that plug slot remains empty even in the integra weird isnt it.

 

Well on EVERY single page I have on how to do this, they don't even make mention of the 3rd plug. SOOO I wouldn't sweat it. Just make sure you get everythign you can from the Integra and have at it. Also, when you take your stock cluster out, you could find that it's not even used on the EG but I'm not sure. Just a guess... once again.

Actually i started this swap a few days ago, but i need a new cluster before i can continue.

When you take out the EH2(EG) cluster there are only 2 big plugs. Then there is a small white and a small yellow plug.

 

yea i figured that the smaller ones are SRS and dimmer switch. good call

 

I looked on the back of a gsr the other day, and there is 4 plugs, so one must be unused and the other is not shown on that pic above.

 

follow this diagram that you could have found if you did a search and it will work correctly.. i have had it done since Feb and no problems at all...

on the teg right side plug for the fuel guage.. I had a pin in the 13 spot and had to move it to the 14 spot... other than that it was perfect....

 

in the post above is that for gsr cluster into a 92-95 civic or is that for gsr cluster into a 88-91 crx/civic? i ask because of your screenname

 

yes sir it is.. I was answering your question for a gsr cluster in an eg... I did it myself in my eg...

You need the plugs to plug in the back of the Gauge Cluster, the civic's do not fit, hence why you have to wire up the GSR cluster to work.

sodder the wires.. and they dont all color match.. most do.. about 80%

then what do you do? go to the list....

I just wired up mine and it works pretty well, although the abs light stays on and the speedo is late. But other than that I used that wiring list a few posts up and it worked no problem. Actually I had trouble with the last 2-3 wires, but all in all I think it's fine. I just found out the LS cluster I have doesn't work right, so I'm waiting on my integra cluster to come in.

Oh, and I used T-taps to connect mine.
