when buying new headlights, there is no need to wire, you just need to take off the bulbs from the old ones and put them on the new ones.

next time it would be more helpful if you stated which car it's for.

are you talking about the city light portion? well they can be wires differently, they can be tapped directly to the parking lights, thats the easiest way, the oem honda way is difficult to do because the corners dont light up as parking lights and only the city lights do, but when you turn the headlights on the city lights are supposed to turn off, i dont know anybody that hsa done this correctly.

I mean for an EG and I dont care about the city lights just want to be able to get them in and going as easily as possible.....i have heard they come with a harness that needs splicing??

can someone elaborate the 'switching bulbs' idea .....not sure i get that one...and i want the h4h bulbs...
thanx

you must use h4h bulbs since that's all the jdm ones use. You can't use your usdm ones, so make sure you buy them with the bulbs. The stock harnesses work fine and will plug right in unless you want to wire up the city lights

Someone needs to just explain how exactly to modify the wiring so that it resembles oem japan wiring on these headlights... Anyone?

if you want it the true JDM way.. cut the red wire from your corner and wire it to the red wire on the city light socket. then splice into the black one. as simple as that

do you mean that they wont work as parking lights? in japan, they dont have them as parking lights. they use city lights instead. if you do it the way i mentioned, it will still work as turning signals.
