I dunno why everyone "drools" over cheesefrog's car, I mean I dont have anything against it at all, but there are other cars out there that are just as fast and faster. I have a couple of friends with B18c turbo in EK's and I have a feeling that they are probably faster. I dont know what kinda time cheesefrog has pulled or if he has, but one guy has run 11.9@119 and the other was 12.0@123 with bogging so it should have been about 130 with a 11 sec pass, and he hasnt tuned his motor yet so we are expecting a mid to low 11's.

Your right about everyone drooling. It IS a nice car and yes it's fast, in a straight line. If your friends posted vids like these than they could get the respect. And to make you feel better, I read this kid blew up his motor so he wasn't doing something right!
Well I already posted these pics over in "Forced Induction" but this is Brian's car who Albert (jdmEKhb) is talking about... I also have a shitty little video that I put together from the other nite... Peace

And it's actually pretty decent in the turns as well. In fact, it handles better than my '93 RX-7 R1 did, though my 7 only had Tokico's & Eibach springs. I built this Civic to perform on a road course, not for drag racing. The old bottom end did indeed let go during my last 1/4 mile pass in San Antonio. st00pid was driving my car (I don't really drag race and wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to launch the car), and he was up against a single turbo Supra (which ran a 10.5@137 or something like that) and was beating the Supra all the way until one of the stock LS sleeves decided to break. We never had a chance to dyno the car with the nitrous, but we guesstimate it was putting down about 570hp at the wheels on spray. Stock Honda sleeves are way too delicate.

You definetly had/got something going right. I guess the SRR lca's are a giveaway on your suspension mods. I'm assuming you had blockguard w/out resleeves? How many psi before it blew?
