t3/t4, .60 ar would easily hit 250 I think. around 4k rpm at full boost and pulls hard to redline. Since I have a max-rev manifold I can vouch for it. Works just fine so far, and it lets me keep a/c.

If want a quick spooling turbo that will support around 300whp maxxed out, go with the following: t3/t4oe 50 trim stage 3 blade .48a/r. You'll make full boost around 3000rpm, and it will pull to the factory d-series redline.

that would be my 2nd choice. My first choice would be the GT28 ($750ish)
it's the turbo that comes with the Nissan Pulsar GTR. They have an internal w/g also are water cooled and oil cooled and are ballbearing!!!

they will reach full spool by about 2900-3100 rpm and pull all the way to redline.
They can support up to 310whp MAX, so if your looking for a really nice small turbo this would be ideal for 200-250whp

This turbo will bolt on to any Greddy D16/B16/B18 manifold and the beautiful HKS Bseries manifold. You can get a custom manifold too.

Anybody have any thoughts on a 50 trim T3 wheel on a 180-220 hp application? Would like full spool of 6 psi somewhere before 3000rpm or right at 3000rpm. .48AR exhaust standard wheel with .63AR compressor ????

I have exactly what you are looking for. It only has 2000 miles on it. No shaft play only synthetic oil used and as an added bonus, the exhuast housing is Jet Hot coated with the 2000 degree black coating. PM me if you are interested. I was going to put this my revhard mani and downpipe on ebay tonight.

i think my turbo i have might be a little too big as far as sizes go. t3/t4, but its a .50AR as far as compressor and exhaust i have no clue? it reaches full boost close to 5K which kinda sucks sometimes but it pulls tremendously all the way to redline.

maybe i should have asked kyle the specs on the turbo when i ordered it my dumb ***

How do you guys think a 50trim w/ .63 a/r would fair on a stock d16y8 for now.
So from what I have read: .48a/r boost should occur @3200-3400 rpm and on a .63a/r 3700-3900/4000 rpm.

I now the .63 should make more topend power over the .48.

Wanksta: I am would opt for the t04e/t3..
Boosted: I just spoke Ken @ cheapturbo and he sugguested to run a 57trim w/ .48a.r. Told full boost should be @5K or so.. Care to shed some light to this.

Whom here is running a t04e/t3 here on their D16?
Is so what is the trim and a/r and how much boost you running. When do you get/see full boost by?
If you have any dyno sheets post em plz.

and can someone point me in the right direction as to where i can buy the turbo that boosted hybrid mentioned?

Shocker you are running a equal length (SuperT manifold) correct.
So that will assist in faster spooling of your turbo.
What is stock redline on your motor or what do you rev out to?
9psi @4500 isn't bad from that 60trim/.63a/r.

Driving to work today I was watching my rpm's throught out the gears.
And I would like full boost around 3500 rpm or so..
Most on my stock motor I want to run is 10-11psi and my WG spring is 6psi or so.
For now I will be happy w/ 200-225whp range. On built motor I am shooting for 300whp or so.

Sure he can..he makes all manifolds to order.

My vote goes for the .48 a/r...perferct for the stock d seires..any valvetrain mods I would jump up to a higher A/R depending how high your going to rev it.

I run a 48 a/r and a .50 trim on my stock y7.

I'm happy with mine. but if you want full boost sooner than 4500 go with the .48. It wont have the topend of the .63 though.
