Default mugen trailing arm bushing

Has anybody installed these? Are there any tricks you need to know? How well do they work? Looks interesting...and a lot cheaper than new arms.

The bushings run about $110 from King or OPM, a bit cheaper than the excellent Prothane units. They are a direct replacement for the OEM bushings with honda part numbers on them, but are made of a harder rubber and are a bit more filled than OEM.

I'm wondering if anybody has had any trouble pressing them in. It looks like it could be a tricky install, no definite stop when pressing in. Then again the same thing probably could be said for the prothane parts.

Thanks!

Try http://www.suspension.com they carry the EnergySuspension version of this
part. I think you reuse the stock middle bar. Best part is, they are $25.

(Must re-use all Metal Parts) 16-7106 $25.00

Do you have to reuse the metal ring around the outside too?

Hell, I don't know... I was going to get them later when it cools off here.
Sometime in the winter. I have the Energy Suspension master kit.
For some reason the rear trailing arm bushings were not included.
The rest of the kit is pretty fresh.
