Some Pics I never posted of my roll bar and harnesses.
A while back Chris (Thanks Again) installed my AutoPower Roll Bar into my Type-R, but I never took pics of the final product. And just last week I got Five point Sparco's (only the four are in right now). So here are the pics.
Here is where the bars bolt to the floor.
Here is how far the roll bar is from the roof of the car
Here is a shot of where my speakers used to be.
Front shot of the camera mount.
Rear shot of the camera mount.
Two profile shots of the bar.
Rear shot of the bar.
and the harnesses.

Damn that looks good. Do you race alot? The reason why I ask is because I was wondering the reason for keeping the back seats in. Looks really good though.

How do you like the sparco harness? How much do they cost? </TD></TR></TABLE>
I like them a lot, althought i have nothing to compair them to. they make a big difference on driving performace, i don't get slammed into the door. I got them for ~$190 shipped.

I don't track a lot, but I do Auto X. I have them in for looks so the car looks clean. Also removing the seats would put me into a different Auto X class.

I have the same setup in my car. Same rollbar, same harnesses. Works great.
Just one thing: Padding? I doubt you can wear your harnesses on the street, and getting in a bad accident with your standard belts, the unpadded rollbar would be a liability.

I want to get padding but I want to re-coat my roll bar so it does not rust.

I retained my rear spealers as well. I did not have to break a mount off, but could only secure them with the front 2 mounting screws, but I haven't had any problems with them. I cut my speaker grills to fit in over the bar, and it looks OK. I'll try to get some pics up this week.
